Normal, Case Study #4 was a junior high school student who was pretty popular just got told by his parents that they were getting a divorce and that he would have to move to a different state with his mom. However, the one Wow moment for me was when I was the Normality Project by Julian James. After seeing all of those people saying if they have seen any people who are normal or not. I now know that there is not really anything saying what normal is let alone is there anyone who can be considered normal. If you think about everyone is unique and special in their own way. Everyone is different and to others, they may even be abnormal. For example, look at all the different cultures around the world if we took one person from each culture and put them in the same room. They would probably think that the other people are odd or dress funny and may even think there is something wrong with them. Take an example from the book said a girl came from the Philippines and used to sleep with her grandmother which the teacher believe she was having separation anxiety. In her culture that is normal to sleep with grandmother however in other cultures, it is considered odd. I believe it is amazing how people think and what one person thinks is normal may not be normal to everyone
