Introduction: Goals and Voice of the Documentary
The overarching question I ask in this film is how graphic novels about Holocaust and other events of genocide are enabling experiential learning in high school classrooms.
Therefore, I asked specific questions to students about their view, especially regarding why do they think it is still relevant to learn about the events of Holocaust

Chapter 3: “Outside the Textbook” (Holocaust Outreach Event)
The hopeful outcome of this final section of my documentary is to highlight the learning about the events of Holocaust outside a conventional textbook with interactive presentations that GMST 551/410 students have been organising.
Although this section does not deal with graphic novels about the events of genocide; however, the advantages and expected outcome from this event will firmly connect with the consensus I have obtained from the interviewed students. To the students, learning about the Holocaust by a personalised retelling of history instead of passive acceptance from textbooks lets them empathise with the victims of the genocide and realise why it still matters to learn about the events of the past.
The event will be a culminating and concluding point of the documentary, where the key learning outcomes of students from the classes that I have visited will connect with the seminar students’ goals to achieve by organising this
