What is an osteocyte and what can you find there

Essentially it is a bone cell, both osteoclasts and osteoblasts can be found here.

What happens in the bones when calcium is too high?

What happens in the bones when the calcium is too low?

The parathyroid gland is notified and lets out the parathyroid hormone (PTH). This triggers osteoclasts which break down bone and release calcium.

Where are osteoclasts and osteoblasts found?

Periosteum on diaphysis
