1. Because no nation is self-sufficient in producing everything they need. 2. Every country has a comparative advantage in producing some goods and services. |

Unequal Partners: Rich countries abuse the system and bully poorer countries into agreeing to rules which favour the rich. |

Trade between companies in developed countries and producers in developing countries in which fair prices are paid to the producers. |

It provides better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in developing countries. |
