Pack with haemostatic gauze and apply fresh dressings and direct pressure |

Should apply a tourniquet 5cm proximal to the wound. If the bleeding is not controlled by the first tourniquet apply a second one above the first one |

Also called a central line, it is a long thin tube used to give medicines, fluid or blood over a long period of time. Often inserted into the arm or chest into a large vein |
