Gestation |

Luteal phase |
Uterus lining thickens further in readiness to receive the fertilized egg Emptied follicle turns into corpus luteum which produces the hormone progesterone that influences thickening of uterus. |

Surrogate mother |
Any such woman who offers to carry someone else's embryo in her own womb till completion of pregnancy and delivers the baby. |

Test tube baby |
Normal conception is not possible in some women In such cases , ovum is taken and fertilized by the sperm of her husband in a test tube and when it reaches 32 cell stage it is implanted inside the uterus of the mother. |
