New follicle begins to develop.

Repair and regeneration

Uterus lining begins to regenerate

Graafian follicle develops

Follicular phase / proliferative phase

Uterus lining rethickens with lot of blood supply

Glands become longer

Follicle matures

Oestrogen secreted from follicle influences uterine wall to thicken to recieve embryo
