What are 3 external features of a leaf? |
1. Large and flat: The leaves are tall and flat because it makes it easier to absorb sunlight, water and other forms of nutrients. 2. Petiol: Leaf is connected to the stem. The petiol turns the leaf to face the sunlight. 3. Veins: The veins are located on the back of the leaf and take the nutrients to other parts of the plant. |

Stomata: The stomata lets the carbon dioxide into the leaf and the water vapour out. Paliside layer: It contains lots of chloroplasts which absorb the sunlight. |
