What does the Backup Indication Module do (30HP), and where is it located?

The back up indication module is located in the RH avionics rack. It senses cabin altitude, rate of change of cabin altitude, and excessive cabin altitude warning (9,500 ft) when the system is in manual mode. It sends cabin altitude to dau 1 and rate of change to dau 2 to show information in the eicas. Excessive cabin warning is sent to DAU 2 where the signal line closes to supply warning in eicas and master caution.

Where is the ejector pump located and what does it do?

It is located in the upper fusulage and produces negative pressure that is needed by the torque motor of the outlfow valve
