What are the attributes of God
Definition: “Those distinguishing characteristics of the divine nature which are inseparable from the idea of God”
Possible Division of Divine Attributes
Incommunicable and Communicable; Natural and Moral
(Greatness and Goodness)
God’s Relationship to His Creation
Transcendent - Isaiah 6 (Distinct from and independent of creation; superior to creation);
Immanent - Jer 23 (present among his creation; actively sustaining his creation)
God’s Uniqueness
He is Incomparable - The Lord is One (Deut 6); Who is Like You? (Ex 15); None Like You (Psalm 86)

Adoptionism
A view of Jesus Christ that sees Hm as a human who was adopted or chosen by God to be elevated being God's divine son or member of the trnity
Modal/Sablellianism
A view fo the trinity considered by the early church, as heritical. It was believed that the one God was revealed at different times in different ways and thus has three manners (modes) of appearance rather than being one God in three persons.
Arianism
That Jesus is the hightest created being but does not sharethe same substance as God the Father

Defense of God's justice and goodness in light of suffering and evil
