verify all fire switches in, notify ground personnel of fire test

Test switch- FAULT / INOP test
Test switch - OVHT/ FIRE test
-Master FIRE WARN PUSH
Extinguisher Test- 1 and 2
if all tests satisfactory
with AC Power available, turn on at least 1 AC fuel pump.
APU ...start
When APU GEN OFF BUS LIGHTS ILLUMINATE:
wait 1 min
APU GENERATOR switches...ON
verify SOURCE OFF, TRANSFER BUS OFF, and STANDBY POWER OFF lights extinguished

-verify pressure meets dispatch req.

-verify model, engine rating, and nav database date is current

POS INIT:
-verify correct time
-enter present position on SET IRS POS line

Navigation Data...set

ROUTE page:
-enter ORIGIN
-enter route
-enter flight number
activate and execute route

DEPARTURES page
-select runway and departure routing
-execute runway and departure routing

LEGS page
-verify RNP for departure
-verify route is correct on the RTE pages. check LEGS pages as needed to ensure compliance with the flight plan

Performance Data...set

PERF INIT
-enter ZFW
-verify fuel on CDU, release papers, and fuel qty indicators agree, and is sufficient for flight

Thrust mode display
-verify TO shows (aspirated TAT)

N1 LIMIT page
-select assumed temp, fixed derate takeoff, or both
-select a full or derated climb thrust as needed

TAKEOFF REF
-make entries on pg 2/2, before 1/2.
-Enter the CG
-verify trim value shown
-select or enter V speeds
-verify or enter accel height
-verify or enter engine out accel height
-verify or enter thrust red. alt
