When using direct object pronouns with negative commands, place the pronoun directly before the verb.

[example] Este pescado no está bueno. No lo comas.

When using direct object pronouns with affirmative commands, attach the pronoun to the end of the verb.

[example] Estas palabras de vocabulario son importantes; estúdialas.
