The coastal plains is almost flat everywhere. It has mild humid weather. Its main cities are Dallas, san Antonio, Houston, Chorpus Christi, and Laredo. It is made up of these smaller sections: The gulf coast plains, South Texas Plains, Piney woods, Poast Oak Belt, and blackland Prairie.

The north central plains do not get as much rainful as the gulf coasal plains.
The north central plains also has hotter summers and colder winters compared to the gulf coast plains. Rivers have carved the north central plains into valleys and canyons which shape the land. The mafor cities are Ft. Worth, Abilene and San Angelo. It is made up of the sectins Cross timber, Grand prairie, and rolling hills. |

What are the craracteristics feature etc. of the great plains?

The great plains lies east of the rocky mountains.High evelation makes hot days and cool nights. It is covered in wide flat areas. Since it is dry there you have to irrigate the soil. The major cities are oddesa midland and lubbock. It is made in to sections called High plains, edwards plateau, and Lano basin.

The mountains and basins is large. it is made up of mountains basins canyons and plataues. Guadalupe peak is the highest peak in texas. It is very hot here it is like a desert.The magor city is el paso. There aren't any major bodies of water.
