-caused: MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS -inhaled and infect ,lining of lung, aveoli as it is inhaled the macrophages ingest it, bacteria survive in the macrophages cannot kill it but send out chemotaxis alot at site, clump together form a tubercle -tubercle grows in macro until they leak out move to resp tract s/s: difficulty breathing, coughing spreads bacteria |
