Where do you photograph prisoner with religious head covering ? |
Borough court section - will be taken in a private area by a mos of the same gender. *uncovered photograph will NOT be taken unless : - prisoner has a distinguishing feature on the face (birthmark, moles, visible injury, ect) that is of investigative value to the current investigation - there is a reasonable suspicion that prisoner committed the crime outside their residence while not wearing the head covering |

Can you take the photo of the prisoner with the religious head covering in place ? |
Yes - ensure the oval of the face (eyes, nose, mouth, forehead, cheeks, chin) are visible in sept photograph - Religious was covering that obscure the oval of the face may be move to expose the oval of the face |

Who notify the Borough court section Supv, if an uncovered photograph must be taken? |
Desk officer - inform the boro court section of the gender of the prisoner in order to have a mos of SAME gender available to take the photograph - make command log noting the reason of the uncovered photograph and name of the boro court section Supv notified |

Where do you tag the uncovered photograph and by whom? |
Boro court section/photo unit mos -tag in “photo manager system” database, limiting the permissible uses of the photograph |
