“ㅂ” ➡️ “ㅜ” when it comes before the ending of a word that starts with a vowel. Eg. 무섭다 ➡️ 무서우 + 어요 ➡️ 무서워요 Eg. 춥다 ➡️ 추우 + 어요 ➡️ 추워요 Eg. 맵다 ➡️ 매우 + 어요 ➡️ 매워요 Eg. 맵다 + (으)ㄹ까요? ➡️ 매우 + (으)ㄹ까요 ➡️ 매울까요? Exception: 돕다 ➡️ “ㅂ” changes to “ㅗ” 돕다 ➡️ 도오 + 아요 ➡️ 도와요 Eg. 도와주세요. (Please help me.)
