Quote 6: “Miracle” is a word we tend to throw around a little more then we probably should. I find myself using it often, but I think God is going to let happen what is best. Sometimes I use the word miracle, but I need to stop and remember who is in control, and it’s no miracle that things happen, it’s the work of God. God is intentional with all of his work. With that being said, instead of asking God for a miracle, we should be asking that His will be done in everything. It is really hard losing a loved one. I think as hard as it is, to let a loved one go, sometimes we have to draw the line. If treatment makes one weaker or is never going to fully rid them of pain, what is the use? At times we want to continue with treatment, but there comes a point when we must stop prolonging the pain, when we know there is not cure.
