Upper manger faces ethical and legal issues everday. social consenus is one of the main issue that will occur. When you are advertising you must take in considerations will effect the people your company is trying to target. Company must ask themselves what are the probability of a harmful outcome or will it cause an ethical problem within the company. There are many questions that will come about in advertising.

Intellectual property
Intellectual property rights are the rights given to persons over the creations of their minds. They usually give the creator an exclusive right over the use of his/her creation for a certain period of time. Exclusive rights given are generally subject to a number of limitations and exceptions, aimed at fine-tuning the balance that has to be found between the legitimate interests of right holders and of users. Intellectual property is now interested in preserving the monetary gain of a person. Regulation of product safety majorly involves the consumers act which aims at providing quality and healthy products to customers. (Borgerson & Schroeder, 2002)

The ethical practice of any business to ensure that they give quality products while practicing social responsibility to the consumer. Product safety engineers are expected to determine the safety of products, obtain agency certifications for the products, and examine and test the products according to various standards .
