If we were stuck in a world that did allow change to the current situation the world would probably be utter chaos. Imagine if we didn 't have some of the influential women in our society now. Women like Marie Stopes (creator of birth control and sex education), Michelle Obama (first lady of the united states), Amelia Earhart (first women pilot, and the first to fly over the atlantic ocean), Angela Merkel (first female chancellor presiding over the most powerful European economy), J.K. Rowling (multi million dollar author-wrote Harry Potter), Rosa Parks (First lady of civil rights), and Oprah Winfrey (generous Philanthropist), have all made such a big impact on life ("31 Most Inspiring Women Who Changed The World”). Each of those women were influential in changing what was viewed as the normal. If each of those women were locked up and hidden from society because the males didn 't want to see them outside, then our society would have missed out on so many new and great advances and creations. Our life would not be the same quality it is now, its amazing to think that Michelle Obama was raised in a one bedroom apartment in Chicago before she went on to excel in academics at Princeton and Harvard. With how much our lives change, some laws are becoming obsolete. Some times new situations come up and we have no existing laws that are able to deal with the situation. An example of this would theft, the old laws simply stated it was illegal for theft of an object, but now we deal with acts such as identity theft, and we had no law that made it illegal. So over time the system has had to change the laws, but also change the thinking behind it. The system of law and justice has to come up with all the possible things that people could do, and then they have to corporate them into the law. So theft now involves property, identity, stealing, thieving, shoplifting, burglary, embezzlement, raid, holdup, rip offs, and discounts. Instead of theft being; stealing an object from the rightful owner, it is; the felonious taking and removing of personal property with intent to deprive the rightful owner of it ("Canadian Criminal Laws Dealing With Fraud in Canada”). The slight changes in word choices has ensured that now the new laws and some changed existing laws will reach exactly what they want to be stopped without the possibility of someone finding a loop hole. If these changes to the law and justice system didn 't happen, people would always be able to find loop holes when dealing with laws, such as theft. So,
