Why I Want To Go To College

Many people doubt or question my decision to leave high school early but I have always been driven toward higher education and it has been a main focus of mine since as long as I can remember. I come from a family of college goers all of whom have loved the experience they had and have strongly encouraged me to go to as well so that I may also grow and broaden my horizons much like they did at my age. While I have had lots of personal experiences that have driven me to higher education I have also had some academic experiences that pushed me further towards graduating a year early. After I made the decision to graduate a year early I faced a large amount of resistance not only from the junior class of students of whom I would be assimilating into but also a few teachers who disapproved my wish of growing up sooner than later, there had the …show more content…
While I am currently still on track to complete high school in three years, when I heard about Simon's Rock, I couldn't believe the school existed. Simply from the decision of what type of audience the school catered I knew that Simon’s Rock would be the perfect fit for me.
