1984, a novel that tops the charts for being the most contentious worldwide, has been banned numerous times due to its controversial themes. However, banning this book is not justifiable. The book provides valuable knowledge and encourages independent thinking. It warns us about the dangers of a wicked government and emphasizes the importance of freedom, privacy, and independence. Despite the indecency depicted in the book, it should not be banned as it helps us understand the reality of our world and what could come in the future.
