What do you think when you see a white dove? Many people in the world would think that of the white dove is a peace symbol; the responsible for this thought was Pablo Picasso, a Spanish artist that is often viewed as icon in the modern arts. His ability of to change and adapt to new trends in his time and even create new styles, made him one of the most famous artist of the 20th century. The influence of his work of art is every where, when you know how to find it. Pablo Picasso was born in Malaga, Spain in 1881, where now there is a museum in his honor located in “Palacio de Buena Vista”, a beautiful palace from the 16th century (www.red2000.com/spain). He was born with a natural talent for arts and he demonstrated it when he was very young. He was recognized as an artist by the Fine Arts community in Spain at the age of 16 with his painting Science and Charity, 1897. He lived in Paris, France for many years, that is why he came in contact the work of great painters, for example El Greco (1541-1614), Diego Velasquez (1599-1660), Francisco de Goya (1746-1828), and Paul Cezanne (1839-1906); also he met other artist of his time like Carles Casagemas, Henri Matisse, and Georges Braque. Pablo Picasso is his short name, because his birth name consists of 23 words; most important, he is the co-creator of Cubism, and Collage original styles of modern art.
