We need Act II of waiting for Godot. Without it, we won’t really know what going on or understand the play very well. All we know in Act I, is they’re waiting for Godot. They don’t know if he is coming or not. They don’t remember being there before. They met Pozzo and Lucky. They’re a weird brunch. Pozzo wants to sell Lucky because he is no use to him anymore. They were there for a while, till they have to go, then the boy come forward saying he will come tomorrow. They are two old men, they have live for a while now.
The next day Vladimir arrive there first. Then, his friend Estragon. They were talking for a while. Then you got to know how far Estragon don’t remember all that well. He is telling Vladimir that they were never there in the 1st place yesterday. And he don’t remember any Pozzo or Lucky. This kind of make sense to me now, that I have reread this part again. In Act I he was telling Estragon that… Vladimir says “on our hands and knees.” Then, Estragon says “as bad as that?” Then, Vladimir says “your Worship wishes to assert his prerogatives?” Then, Estragon says “we’ve no rights any more?” Then, Vladimir “you’d make me laugh if it wasn’t prohibited.” Then, Estragon says “we’ve lost our ?” Then, Vladimir says “we got rid of them.” All throughout the play we hear Estragon is tire he wants to sleep, but Vladimir keep on waking him, because he is lonely and wants some company. I think Mr. Godot could be God. Plus, his name says it all just take out the ot, what will this leave us? God. He not meeting with them yet, because it is not their time yet. I believe Estragon is having versions about this day or somewhere in the near future. All throughout the play, they were talking about Christ death on the cross ad things like
