“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our sense to grow sharper.” Yeats is saying that we have to stop and look for the magic in our life and the world around us. He says that it is all around us and he wants us to keep looking for that magic. I think he purposely used the word patience because he knows it will not come easy or fast but it is something that we have to wait for. Yeats underwent a Steinach surgery, which reduced the mentality and looks of aging, in 1934. He passed away on January 28th, 1939 at the age of 74 in Menton, France and was buried at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. He was later removed from there and was buried in Drumcliffe, County Sligo in
