Dialogue relates to real life because when people talk or even talk in a story you can hear their tone of voice or their emotion as their talking if they're happy or upset or sad. Imagery relates to real life because we our constantly looking around picturing people and items. Similes relate to real life because as humans we our constantly comparing things to each other .In the end of the story of “The Veldt” it says “The lions on three sides of them, in the yellow veldt grass, padding through the dry straw, rumbling and roaring in their throats. The lions. Mr. Hadley looked at his wife and they turned and looked back at the beasts edging slowly forward crouching, tails stiff. Mr. and Mrs. Hadley screamed.
