With more number of people getting aware of the community forest and the benefits gained out of it, the number of community forest also increases rapidly within short period of time, which contributes to achieve many development goals like empowerment of local communities, sustaining forest management, good governance and poverty reduction. Local people who have actively involved in the management of forest become protector of local forest resources and they may become professional forest manager who can play important role in local forest development in future.
