Moon Landing Hoax If you’ve got a friend and she reveals to you that she believes the moon landing was faked and we, as the human race, have never made it to outer space, do not be surprised. A day after they enter the Moons orbit it’s time for Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to start descending to the moon’s surface. At exactly 4:18 p.m. EDT, the lunar module lands. They take photographs, collect samples of dust, rocks etc. When they’re ready to go back to Earth, they leave behind an American flag, a plaque on one of the lunar modules legs which reads, “Here men from the planet Earth first set foot upon the moon, July 1969 A.D. We came in peace for all mankind.” (qtd. in One Giant Leap For Mankind), and a patch to honor the fallen Apollo 1
