To What Extent Was The Moon Landing In 1968 Fake?

Improved Essays
Some people think that the moon landing in 1968 was fake. But, some people think it's real. People think that after the rocket launched it didn’t go to space and they staged it and made it seem like it landed on the moon. And others say it's real because millions of people were watching. And even other countries that were trying to get to the moon first can't prove it was fake.
I put confidence on that the moon landings were real. I understand this because I have found evidence that have told me this. And one piece of evidence I found is that Russia and Japan were in a race to get to the moon first and they couldn't prove that we didn't go. So why would they lie to cover us up because they want to win.
Others believe it was staged so JFK could be correct. They thought this because he said that we would go to the moon in the late 60’s. Well, just because he said that doesn't mean, that's why we went. And millions of people were watching it. And we went because we figured out enough technology to do it.

But, some people believe that this picture was not possible to be taken because it could have melted or got frozen. I believe since the space suits on the astronauts, they didn't melt so if they put that same material and the same thickness then it shouldn't melt. The Soviet Union even said that they couldn't prove it was fake. And why would they lie if they want to be the first to the moon. I bet that they would try so hard to prove us wrong and we couldn't have bribed them because they have a lot more money than us and we would be straight broke they would want us to give them our country. But since that didn't happen, we did go to the

It has been at least 46 years since mankind first stepped onto the moon. This event is considered one of the most important accomplishments that humanity has ever done. However, at this point some people still believe that such an event did not happen, and it was all just massive propaganda used by the United States in order to bankrupt the Soviet Union at the time. This idea about the Apollo mission being fake seems illogical. My perspective about this is that the U.S actually did land on the moon.…

Within the documentary The Truth Behind The Moon Landings, theorists claim the whole landing to have been staged with props because of the lack of technology, the multiple light sources, and lack of stars in all photo and video evidence. Many people are skeptical about the Apollo 11 landing on the moon because, in the 1960s, NASA did not have advanced enough equipment and technology. Ralph René, a self-taught engineer and author claims, “there’s absolutely no way they went to the moon with what they had, in fact, there’s no way they can go today, there’s no way they can go tomorrow. You don’t send man where you haven't sent the monkey.”…

The year is 1961 and the U.S. is six years deep in a space race with the Soviet Union to show off to each other who has the best air and space capabilities. President Kennedy gives a speech saying that we will go to the moon “not because it is easy, but because it is hard” (Engle). Less than a decade later, on July 20th, 1969 at 20:17:40 UTC, the Apollo 13 mission put Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon (“Theories”). Ever since that day the people have doubted the fact that we ever put people on the moon. An opinion poll found six percent of American believed the U.S. did not go to the moon, with it jumping to 20% after Fox released the 2001 documentary: Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?…

Apollo 11 discovered that the moon is lifeless; containing no living organisms, fossils, or native organic compounds (SNASM). Extensive research and testing revealed no proof for life, past or present, to be found in the lunar samples. Because of the idea of aliens inhabiting the lunar land, a plaque was attached to the leg of the lunar landing vehicle that read “ HERE MEN FROM THE PLANET EARTH FIRST STEP FOOT UPON THE MOON JULY 1969 A.D. WE CAME IN PEACE FOR ALL MANKIND” (SNASM). This plaque was signed by former president Richard Nixon along with all three astronauts that took part in the lunar landing mission.…

People examined the video, and came to the conclusion it didn’t correlate with their understanding of space. What escaped the minds of the delusional is that although they discredit it, the Russians never did. While certain things in the video didn’t correlate with their understanding of space, space represents the unknown. Because the astronaut was opaque, doesn’t mean he was a ghost or in reality he was. What we’re employing is technology that functions according to our physics on earth, not one based on the moons.…

If no one believes it, it still happened because belief does not determine truth. This can be proven using history very easily. For example, take the death of the Tsarist royal family during the Communist Revolution in 1917. The White Army shot the entire royal family, but the bodies of Anastasia and her brother, Alexei were buried with the rest of the family. This spurred rumors that Anastasia was alive and had escaped.…

The one reason that the waving flag, when you look at the photo of Neil on the moon, the flag does know that it 's moving and that is a little odd since there is no atmosphere out there, that is a huge head scratcher just because if they were really on the moon why is it moving. Another reason why I agree with it being a conspiracy is because the claim has it that if they landed on the moon that the crater would be so much deeper and larger than it really is. In the photo, it is not really even visible or ever look like it was moved. Of the 10 reasons that I saw, reading into them really makes me think that maybe the moon landing never really happened. The claims that are being said really make sense, especially if you look at the photos being shown; you see exactly what thousands of others see.…

On September 12, 1962, president john F Kennedy delivered his “why we chose to go to the moon” speech at Rice University in Houston, Texas. The occasion of the speech was to address to the American people the importance of returning to space and being the first nation to place a man on the surface of the moon. Kennedy chose this time to deliver his speech because we were currently at the height of the cold war and the United States was beginning to lose the space and technological race against the Russian nation. Therefore Kennedy appeared at Rice University where he delivered his speech to a crowd that consisted of scientists, professors, students, and the general American people. The context that shaped Kennedys’ speech was the importance of mankind to achieve the near impossible feat of landing a human being on the surface of the moon and the profound impact that this accomplishment would have on the future of the human race.…
