Love In Short Story

The love that is bestowed upon us When I read a lot of short stories about family and the love that they have for each other is really different from each person. I know that each and every one person on earth has all kinds of different feeling toward each other, and no matter whom we are, we all have gone through love. These three authors have discussed about love while they write their short stories. Every story has a differentt situation where the characters are reacting to love in an expected way and expected way. Love can make us do something that we are not capable of, and it makes us do strange things. We will never really understand love, but it comes and goes as time goes by. It comes unexpectedly and leaves something behind that …show more content…
It leaves us memories, and something that we cannot ever forget. Some of us will be happy when love comes to us, and also happy when it leaves us. It is a really complicated and beautiful thing in our body that all of us will have to go through. We can make it become the best memories and it was fun while it lasted. Love can also bring us pains and makes us miserable when we are unexpectedly falling in love with someone who is selfish. I will analyze how love can be really hard to understand and how it can become a dagger that will either protect or kill us forever through the short stories of Kate Chopin, James Baldwin and Shirley Jackson. We can see how love makes us do something really stupid just because we are selfish and we do not think of the one that we love. We put our own desires …show more content…
Money and love are two difference things. We really cannot live without money or love. We need them both to have a reason to live in this world. They give us a happy and easy life to live if we have both money and love. It is really lucky if we have both of them, but life does not give us what we want. In the story “The Kiss” by Kate Chopin, Kate gives us a lesson about how we cannot have everything that we wanted. “She was confidently waiting for him to declare himself and she meant to accept him. The rather insignificant and unattractive Brantain was enormously rich; and she liked and required the entourage which wealth could give her” (The Kiss). The woman named Nattie is married to someone whom she does not love. She does not have any affection toward him. She does not have any affection toward him. She just wants his wealth, social status and a life that she will never have to work. She falls in love with a poor man and marries to a rich person. She pushes the poor man away when she is with the rich man, even though she loves the poor man. She wants both love and money at the same time. We can always make money during our lifetime, but to find true love is really tough. She chooses money over love. I know that money can give us an easy life, but it does not give us a happy life. Indeed money gives us an easy life through materials and it can buy us all the things that we want. Money cannot buy love. Love will last

Many people assume that their perspective of the world, specifically about love, is that it is straightforward and simple, and that everyone gets a fairytale ending. However, that is not always the case, and usually never is. As seen in pieces like Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, and “When Love Arrives” by Sarah Kay & Phil Kaye, it shows that love is unpredictable, complex, and involves varying levels of emotion. Brave New World and “When Love Arrives” both display perspectives of love being erratic.…

Love is a common theme in many narratives, however, writers who use this theme as a tool in the progression of their stories tend to cling to it’s cliché and typical form. Howard Fast, on the other hand, in his warped account of a slave revolt in ancient Rome, titled Spartacus, uses love in a more unconventional manner. His main characters all experience and react differently to love which creates, in a sense, a spectrum of the various kinds of love. For the purposes of this paper, we will focus mainly on three important men although there were many others touched by love. Spartacus and Varinia have the most solid and genuine love in the story.…
