In his theory, of delinquant subculture and his book “Delinquant boys “ (1955), he pointed out that youth engage in crime in seek of personnal social status, as a result of their own "American Dream" failure , he investigated the character of criminal behavior in lower-class urban areas. Finaly, he underlined that it is very easy to criminalize youth but the paths to decriminalization are not so easy to come by.
Consequently I will develop my preventional program based on the theory of A. Cohen and his approach to non-professional, urban, youth delinquency.

Cohen (1955) did not look at the economically oriented career criminal, but looked at the delinquency subculture, focusing on gang delinquency among low class youth in ghetto areas.
