According to McWhorter’s (2015) article, he believes that within time, the linguistic world will be different than what it is today. Basically, knowing another language will make people think differently, shaping their thoughts. The components in languages help people form reality and make communication possible. It also helps people build on knowledge, like developing ideas for innovation that can impact a culture. Language tends to reflect cultural beliefs and values that influences thoughts on people.
