Studying Spanish

Spanish is the most-studied language in the United States. Some people might ask a student that studies Spanish, why that student would study Spanish or what would studying Spanish do for that person. Well, first of all, that person that should mind their own business because who cares what others say about that student learning Spanish. That person should worry about himself instead of the student. Despite what some people say, studying Spanish can be really useful. Studying Spanish is better than not studying Spanish because not only is studying Spanish beneficial and important for that student, but for others as well. When you study Spanish, it will broaden your job experiences, allow you to travel abroad, and you can meet new people. Studying Spanish can broaden your job opportunities. Since there is a large Latino population in the United States, it is no surprise that Spanish is the second most common language spoken in here. For example, if you traveled abroad to Spain and the language spoken there is predominately Spanish, it would be really convenient for you if you knew how to speak Spanish. Knowing how to speak Spanish in Spain would allow you to make reservations, ordering food, giving directions, or even having a conversation with a person that does not speak English. Secondly, some people might even appreciate or respect you speaking Spanish instead of English. Also, if you knew how to speak Spanish, it would also help you see a whole new perspective on the Spanish people and their culture. Lastly, not only could you speak Spanish in Spain, but you could also speak Spanish in more than 20 countries in the world! So, you should study Spanish because you could travel to a Spanish speaking country and experience a once in a life time
