If I were in charge of ensuring that mindful leaders have a good website that they can access to obtain useful information, I would suggest for them to use the Mindful website at www.mindful.org. This site focuses on teaching people how to take the time for the things that really matters. It is dedicated to inspiring, guiding, and connecting anyone who wants to explore mindfulness—to enjoy better health, more caring relationships, and a compassionate society.

In order to be successful in mindful leadership, one must ensure that they are aware of what is important to them personally and at home prior to displaying it in the workplace. This means to truly understand how your body and mind works in certain situations and learning to be at peace and have control. It also means making an effort to understand your relationships and display love for others. Once these areas have been mastered, then you can use the same techniques to be mindful at work as well.

For example, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a well structured group program that teaches mindfulness meditation to relieve the symptoms of psychological, physical and psychosomatic suffering (Grossmann, 2004).
