At the beginning of time, God created the world. Light and darkness, the land and the sky, the living creatures, all are the creation of the Lord. Moreover, God didn’t create everything and let things run its course. He is actively involved with his creations, especially men, who were made in his image. As this doctrine stands as a foundational belief, it has an astounding effect on my vocational choice.

Most importantly, God loves his children, and is always involved with them. On the sixth day of creation, the Lord created Adam and Eve (Genesis 1-2). Human was created in the image of God, to be his representative on earth. However, they did not follow the command of God and sinned; yet, he still loves human and sent his son – Jesus Christ – to be the sacrifice to wash away the sin of mankind. As one is baptized, the Holy Spirit is filled within his soul to guide him through life. Roman 8:5-6 states, “Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace”. The Holy Spirit resides within each person and speaks to them in times of need, as God had always talked to the chosen people. The Old Testament recorded prophecies given to man through the will of God, spoken by the prophet to shine the lights on human understanding and future (2 Peter 1:21). Because the Lord loves man, he created man to have a relationship with him. He spoke to the heroes of the Old Testament, and reveal himself to them. God is sovereign, he rules and govern over mankind, and he is the King who cares for his people deeply. Psalms presented God’s preservation on all creation in nature, from the plants and animals, to human. In particular, Dr. Carson stated that since the Lord created everything, he has plans and purpose and provides for all to sustain . Most importantly, God is concerned not only with the Israelite, but all humanity, because all men were created in his
