Technological Advancements : The United States Essay

The United States faced many important events since the 1990’s and that caused a significant change in the lives of the American people. Some events changed the American lifestyle in a positive way and helped Americans develop technological innovations. After doing what was thought impossible and reaching the moon, the American people did not stop there technological wise. However, other events completely destroyed the sense of security amongst Americans. The three most profoundly significant changes that affected the lives of the American people are technological advancements, the economic recession of 2008, and the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
One of the most significant changes that changed American lives was technological advancements which is very helpful to many Americans. Technological innovations took place in the early 1995’s as the internet was available for many to use. Americans went from using dial-up internet connections, that would turn off whenever someone called on the phone, to using wifi which was a great invention in 1991 as it allowed people to connect to the internet wirelessly. The internet improves every year since it been created. Before there was the internet, people who would search for information went to libraries and read encyclopedias.
