The human behavior and the social environment shape the values of society. The scholar has presented the theories of the social work practice and the relationship of these theories with the practical life of the human beings as well as with the interaction of the human beings that they have in a social environment. The conflict theory is part of the sociology that is explaining the social, political and material inequalities within a social group or community (Alcock, 2009). The socio-political systems are highlighted as the prime reasons for the differences and conflicts on society as the conflict theory is describing it. The social life is a competition between the individuals and the distribution of the resources with the individuals. The rational choice theory is one of the economic principles that elaborates the individuals make the logical and wise decisions. The decisions made by the individuals are beneficial for them.
