The Deficiency in Romeo and Juliet
One can easily be influenced by foolish and impulsive desires, which can force them into undesirable situations. Such is the case with William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. This play is centred on two adolescents blinded by love. Moreover, the love that brought them together is ultimately what leads to their demise. Their deaths can only be blamed on themselves. This is due to the facts that they formed a marriage hastily, they had a defective, sexually driven relationship, and they committed the mistakes of making lamentable decisions.
Firstly, Romeo and Juliet worked rashly rushing the crucial act of marriage for their love. Unfortunately, this was a thoughtless mistake that engendered a horrible outcome. A robust relationship should take years to develop. Nonetheless, Romeo and Juliet were ready to kill themselves for each other after meeting only a few days later. After Romeo and Juliet first saw each other one of the first things asserted between them was, “my lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand/to smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss.”(I,v, 95-96). Romeo and Juliet had just met each other yet Romeo was already expressing his love, saying that his lips are ready to kiss her. Another piece of evidence of Romeo and Juliet 's blunder is that later the same day Juliet stated, “if that thy bent of love be honorable,/ thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow/ by one that I’ll procure to come to thee.”(II,ii,143-145), meaning…
