In many ways the rich and poor men of Rome were vastly different. The rich men had many luxuries whilst the poor men had little to nothing. One way they were different was the food they ate. Rich men has feasts and ate exotic food. They had big meals, and had their own kitchens.They also usually ate laying down because it showed that they didn't have to serve themselves and they had enough power to pay other people to serve them. Poor men ate basic food, they’re meals were very small causing them to be undernourished. Poor men cooked on grills and relied on the money they got from work to buy food. Poor men often bought food from thermopolis which is basically a fast food place.
