The author Faulkner describes Emily as being a crazy lady and being custom of her southern old beliefs. In the story the color “black” represents many deaths. For instance Emily father and Homer Barron, the men she likes. Emily killed and kept Homer Barron in the attic of her house, because he didn’t want Barron to leave her. Every boy Emily liked her father scared them away, so she believed killing him would be a good idea. Home Barron being dead Emily still didn’t want to believe it. In addition the criminal wrote a letter asking the ISIS leader to become one of them. Although Nadal Hasan was born in America, he believed in the Muslim religion or what is called "jihad". Hasan was influence by a religious group. The Islamic and Muslim religion are dangerous to Americans, because they are against American culture. Therefore they will kill Americans. Before Hasan committed the massacre, he attended a religious ceremony that could off influence him on killing Americans. According to Researcher S. Harris, author of "Letter to a Christian Nation", contends that religion propagates myths that are dangerous, and that the world would be far better off without them"(“Terror: Can We Blame Religion?”).
