In “Remember the Titans” the whole movie is based on racism, stereotyping and prejudice. The movie has a slightly dark tone and displays the reality of how life was back in the day. We see black people angered, hurt emotionally and we see the sad parts of their lives. The final reason for why I think that “Remember the Titans” is the better movie is because it send a clear message. The director has à clear purpose for this movie and doesn’t stray far away from it. He/she wants everyone to learn how hard life was for black people back then and the movie stays on topic. Hairspray on the other hand changes its racism theme to dancing and singing, and then to à comedy, then back to racism. The message of this movie is not clear. Was the director trying to portray racism in his/her movie or was he/she trying to make à fun movie that people will enjoy but learn nothing
