America has been thought of as a place, assuming the role of by fairness, different cultures, power and the dream of having a better life for everyone, whether a person is white black, brown, red or yellow. The truth is that racial groups have been segregated by the general public of Americans. There is no doubt that racism has been around for quite awhile. It was said to be started around the 1400s, mainly between the black and whites during the days of slavery. So what comes to mind when you hear the word racism? The reason for racism is because some people felt entitled, superior, better and more commendable of any better than others who were a different color then they are. Racism has had a negative impact on every person, but specifically for African Americans. African Americans were disliked by the whites due to the darkness of their skin color. The whites expressed the hatred of their dark skin to the point of self abuse. Racism, common around the world affects the way one thinks about one another. Many people are not aware of how much racism still exists in our schools, workforces, and anywhere else where social lives are occurring.
Racism is a problem we believe we cannot regulate, on the other hand, there is always reality, we can only control it to a certain extent. Racism can lead to brutality and can cause individuals to feel like they cannot associate with others and it can also cause depression, which leads to suicide.
