Depending on how you look at the NCLB is how you will find some of the good parts. Here are some pros that were found in the research. Each state measures their annual progress and is held accountable if they do not meet those standards. Another pro is standards are set for teacher qualifications. They make sure the teachers have a great education so that our children get the most out of our schools. Another one is the NCLB links state academic content with student educational out comes. They make sure the right things are being taught to the students so they are understanding it. Another one is emphasizes reading, writing, and mathematics. First, you have federal under funding. The government does not give enough money to help cover everything they are supposed to help with. Another is teaching to the test. When teachers are in their classes they have to go by what will be on the state standardized tests that will happen that year.
