1. Discuss the primary function of a project plan.

According to the Project Management Book of Knowledge, the project plan is "...a formal, approved document used to guide both project execution and project control. The primary uses of the project plan are to document planning assumptions and decisions, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and document approved scope, cost, and schedule baselines. A project plan may be summarized or detailed."

Therefore, the Project plan should document the scope, cost and schedule of a project. These 3 factors together comprise the triple constraint, so called because if any one of these factors changes, the other 2 factors must be adjusted to maintain

4) Schedule-is created from the project plan and individual schedules. Creating the project schedule will give the team an overview of what needs to be done, when it needs to be done and when it should be completed. The project schedule should take into account all fixed schedules. The project schedule allows the project manager to monitor the progress of the project toward the completion of important milestones.

5) Assumptions-This section outlines the assumptions that went into the project, for example managers will make all required team members available for the project.

6) Constraints-This section lays out the limits on the project, for example the budget is not unlimited. This section may also reveal other projects that may be related in some way. For example, to install the database it may also be necessary to install the storage system first. Finally this section should also explain critical constraints. These are constraints that can result in the premature closure of the project, for example if all of the funding is suddenly removed.

7) Project Management Approach-This section will have the following subsections:
a. Timeline
b. Roles and responsibilities
c. Issue Management-How will issues such as feature changes be handled?
d. Communication Plan-How will communication regarding the project be handled? The communication mode will be different depending on the audience and the information. For
