In Plato’s Republic, which is known as the greatest work of Plato in accordance to social justice and personal happiness. Republic is a kind of narrative dialogue wherein characters show symbolism in the community. Plato’s dialectic manner is said to persuade and encourage everyone to view a detailed scene of the world and it’s people and distuingish it as a significant part of understanding the whole. At this point, they’ve talked about how rationalism affects piety. Since Cephalus, at first, leave the conversation for he chose piety, Socrates ask him what made him go? Cephalus responded telling that when you’ve come over the struggles of life especially at the early stages of it, things you’ve never done before will go hunt you. Basically, divinity comes to him after what experiences he’d encountered. Furthermore, they’ve also discussed how wealth affects the decision of a person to choose peity. Socrates surmises that Cephalus has a great wealth on his own, but he sees Cephalus not vehement towards the love of his self nor wealth. So as to this, Cephalus linked wealth to piety. He stated that thanks to his wealth, “he was not able to cheat nor to decieve anyone, or to depart for that next place in fear, on account of owing some sacrifices to god or money to a man”. He means that, owing some kind of wealth dont push him to do unecessary things and not to be tempted for man to do a crime. Rather that he said, that a decent and orderly man knows how to handle his wealth and was aware that money or wealth is not anodyne enough to drive anyone towards bad
