What is Borderline Personality Disorder? Borderline Personality Disorder is a mental illness that follows up with unstable moods, behavior, and relationship. Some doctors would consider BPD as a mental disorder because people with diagnosed with disease may sometimes have severe brief psychotic episodes. People who suffer from BPD have symptoms of problems with regulating emotions and thoughts, impulsive and reckless behavior, and unstable relationships with other people. There are high rates of other disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and eating disorders, self-harm, suicidal behaviors and suicides that people who suffer from PBD.
Personality Bipolar Disorder can derive from childhood and set at an early stage. There is research on the possible causes of Personality Bipolar Disorder but scientist strongly believe that the environment and genetic make-up plays a major role in these disease. There was a study done on a set of twins that had Borderline Personality and it was stated that it was strongly inherited. Research also shows that someone’s nature and certain personality traits such as aggression. Social nor cultural factors can cause Borderline Personality Disorder but both subjects can increase the risk tremendously.
