My life made me who I am today. Throughout my life I have been on a roller coaster. Moving along the tracks, but not smoothly. Explaining my traumatic story I am not trying to incriminate myself but rather have people learn from my mistakes. Shaping My Life I made myself into the person that I am today. I’m kind, caring and a person, which led me to change the way that I think and the atmosphere around me. I’ve always been caring and kind to others, and I’ve always thought about wanting to help people for the rest of my life. I changed that way that I think in several different ways, including changing how shy that I was and how I wasn’t looking people in the eyes when I talked to them. I also changed the way that the atmosphere was around me, by working hard in my life, and figuring out who my real friends were.…

Who am I? It seems likes a simple question that I typically give a two word answer to: Rachel Klenke. There are 7.57 billion people on earth, yet there is only one Rachel Nicole Klenke. I am so much more than just a name though, I am a daughter, a student, an athlete, and an avid cheeseburger critic. The question of “who am I?” deserves a deeper answer than a simple name, and although it cannot be fully answered in a single essay, it can be summarized by my interests, fears, experiences, and future plans.…

If there is one thing that most people notice about me it’s that I am quiet. I often go unnoticed and people think that I am just anti-social. As my high school years seem they are rapidly coming to an end, I am faced with the seemingly never-ending process of personal statements for college. As I sat down to write my first essay, I was faced with a question which deceivingly seemed all too easy to answer which was; What has brought me to this point, how did I get to be who I am today? Immediately following this question my mind races through a vast amount of memories beginning as early as preschool up until what time I decided to go to sleep the night prior. Although as I seem to comb through my early childhood and teenage memories with a fine toothed-comb I am struck with the realization that not one moment in my life has defined me. I am a complex eighteen-year-old made up of an extensive amount of experiences (either good or bad), and not one “thing” has ever defined me.…
