Norman McLaren was born April 11 1914 but sadly died January 24 1987 in Montreal Canada. Norman was a Canadian animator, director and producer. Commonly known for his work for the National Film Board of Canada. Norman McLaren had been building his reputation since the early 1940s in 1942. Norman McLaren had been interested in creating and even went to Glasgow School of Art. Some of Norman’s experiments with film and animation was scratching and painting the film stock itself. Noman McLaren movies at an amateur film festival and took the interest of the head of GPO and he had hired McLaren .Norman worked at the GPO from 1936 to 1939 but had moved in 1939.
