Nobility of Friendship Friends are what any person needs to live a complete life. To get friends, one must be living a fulfilling life since friends are a reflection of oneself. Sara was a person who could stand by me even when I was not able to stand by myself. Whenever I needed her, she was always by mi side, ready to provide me with moral support, advice, prompt into action or decision-making, and help in every sphere of life. I had not given consideration to the idea of friendship at that time. However, there was one thing I knew for sure - all I needed to make in life was a friend like Sara. She made a great contribution to my life, and her absence is felt very harshly now, when she is gone. People that knew me before and after her death agree that I am no longer the person I used to be. My innovativeness subsided; my creativity also went down, not to mention my joy and charisma. What I mean is that the death of a close friend has changed my personality, interests and all other aspects of life and conduct. People may wonder how a friend’s death can change one’s personality yet a personality is an in-built feature of an individual? The answer is simple. Friends do not usually force people into a particular behavior, but their presence influences an individual to behave in a certain manner (Vann, & Bass III, 3). The joy of friends disseminates to friends, as well as their depression. Therefore, the person I was at the time of Sara’s presence is long gone.
