Being a man in society means that there are constant criticisms whenever there is trouble with finances or any other thing that is expected of men to solve. A man is expected to be the protector and provider for those inside his household and other members of society if there is a need. Being a black man in society comes with a lot of discrimination. This is because of past encounters between black males and law enforcement agents. These problems are used to categorize the black community by outing a label on them as criminals and poverty stricken individuals. The significance of the Million Man March was to give men, especially black men hope that there can be a life without violence, crimes, and poverty and it starts with them as an individual and the actions they
