Without free will, man become a coward and hold them back from standing up. “‘ Mr. montag, you are looking at a coward. I saw the way things were going, a long time back. I said nothing. I’m one of the innocents who could have spoken up”’ ( Bradbury 82). Because Faber lost his free will he lost everything, he could’ve done something but didn’t. Without free will man can’t take action which will lead to regret and guilt. “‘ When no one would listen to the guilty, but I did not speak and thus became guilty myself.
