Having the skill of being fearless is extremely significant, because fear will not get me anywhere. I personally do not want to die with any regrets, and live my life to the fullest. Negative people around me might want to stop me and bring me down, but I can’t let that get to me. Ways to do this either change my friends or change my friends. I could try to change the mentality of they way they think, in order for them to support me. If my friends continue to bring me down, I will change my friends. Surrounding myself with people with the same mentality and goals as me, will take me far in life. Switching the way we think is important, because if not everyone would just give up. I am willing to go against what everyone tells me and just be fearless and not listen to negative people to get to

We gain wisdom from past experiences; experiences that were not in someone’s best interest. Jim Butcher claimed, “Courage is about learning how to function despite the fear, to put aside your instincts to run or give in completely to the anger born from fear.” Courage is learning how to get through life without giving in to instinct. Oneself must get out of their comfort zone to conquer life’s obstacles. Courage is about having wisdom, but also having confidence in yourself.…

I relate most to Grant in ‘A Lesson Before Dying’ because he’s the one that’s always there for everyone he says it like it is and doesn’t care. When Jefferson was having a hard time after he got sentenced to death, if I was in Jefferson’s lawyers’ shoes I would try everything in my power but he didn’t have much because he was a black male when racism was normal, I am very grateful that now color does not determine if you’re guilty or not. Jefferson’s lawyer was trying to win over the judge and jury. He made Jefferson seem like he couldn’t be capable of comparing him to a hog and saying he is just a boy, “gentlemen of the jury look at this – this – this boy… when we, civilized men consider the male spices has reached manhood, but would you…

And for some people, going to college with the long term goal of having their own business is not the best option. There are over a hundred entrepreneurs who succeeded without a college degree. Growing up I have always dreamed of starting my business and managing every detail in it, I started studying the most famous businesses and what the imperfections in these businesses are, just to make sure that in the future if I do start my business, I do not make these mistakes. Starting a small business can be easy, but I always think through on how I can make it big and successful. The reasons I wish to study business administration is that I believe that if I graduate with this degree, I can become qualified to work in many business fields such as finance, accounting, and other aspects of the "money business". Most of my family members are currently working on their businesses ( banks, boutiques, restaurants, etc...), this encourages…

The idea of existentialism is believed to have been founded by a Danish philosopher named Søren Kierkegaard, who lived from 1813 to 1855. Although Kierkegaard was a religious man, existentialism became a more atheistic worldview as the philosophy further developed in the 20th century. There are many variations of existentialism, but the main idea of it is that human lives has “no meaning unless people give them meaning.” To elaborate, existentialists say that although life itself originally has no absolute answer, humans are free to choose or create their own meaning to life, without being swayed or forced by the voices and ways of society and religion. This is an intriguing worldview, as it not only supposedly answers some of the biggest questions…

According to Marriam-Webster, the definition of worldview is “a way someone thinks about the world.” As everybody has a unique view on the world, their views of the universe can range from joyfulness or sadness depending on how he/she perceives the events in life. Some individuals think the events that unfold in life are beneficial to their overall success, while others believe that the events that are taking place lead to a dark place. Nonetheless, we have to face the reality and try to make the best of what unfolds, especially during the bad and good times.
